Specialty Events at CAL

Specialty Events occur every month at CAL Sports Academy we offer a variety of specialty events in the sport of basketball, volleyball, soccer, and performance training. These specialty events are geared to help our youth athletes utilize, practice, and strengthen what they’ve learned in our classes, clinics, and training. Players fine tune their skills to keep them on top of their game while, most importantly, having fun!

Jul 8 – Jul 15

Middle School/High School Elite Basketball Scrimmages (Sunday, July 15 from 3:30 – 6:30 pm)

Nothing but scrimmages with Coach Corey, Coach Pat, and Coach Dean.  Join us for three (3) hours to work on your game and have fun with your friends. Players in Middle School and High School will get an elite basketball workout.  Register Now

 

Co-Ed Beginner/Intermediate Players (Sundays)

Just for our Co-Ed Beginner/Intermediate Players!  Build confidence passing, dribbling, shooting and playing the game.  Players will fine-tune their skills to keep them on top of their game while, most importantly, having fun.  Register Now

 

 

Coach Jess Volleyball Serving Clinic – July 10 – 31 (Every Tuesday in July) from 5:30p-6:00p

Are you looking to get a little extra practice on your serve?  Whether you are just learning how to underhand serve or wanting to capitalize on your overhand serve… Coach Jess has the clinic for you!  Players will learn proper footwork, pointers on tossing, where to contact the ball and proper arm swing.  Clinics will start with a proper warm-up and then progress into serving.  This 30-minute clinic is meant to give each player maximum reps each week!  Register Now

 

 

 

Coach Pat’s Small Group Training Sessions (Int/Adv) – Every Tuesday in July from 6:00p-7:30p

This co-ed intermediate/advanced small group training is designed to provide more individual attention to each player.  Each session will focus on different techniques such as creating off the dribble, offensive movement concepts and strengthening basketball IQ to enhance player skills in order to face tougher competition.  Register Now
