At CAL Sports Academy, our philosophy is to help athletes grow and develop into the best versions of themselves. We provide a quality experience within a positive, encouraging, disciplined, and challenging environment. Athletes learn to compete at a high level during practices and games while continuing to build their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game.
We believe that support, encouragement, discipline, patience, and balance help prepare athletes for their next level of competition. Whether their goal is to play for a middle school, high school, or college program, we are committed to helping them develop the skills, habits, character, and confidence needed to pursue that goal.

2026–2027 Girls Club Volleyball Season
Join CAL Sports Academy for the upcoming Lady Cobras Club Volleyball season. We are currently evaluating athletes for our 14U, 15U, 16U, and 17U teams.
Please review the USA Volleyball age chart below if you are unsure which age division to select.
Season Overview
The final 2026–2027 season details are still being developed. Based on the structure of our recent club seasons, athletes and families can expect:
- Season: Approximately November through April
- Practices: Teams are typically scheduled for two to three practices per week
- Practice Length: Approximately 1.5 to 2 hours per session
- Tournaments: Approximately 10 to 12 tournament days
- Training: Comprehensive skill development, game strategy, and team training
- Player Development: An emphasis on confidence, leadership, teamwork, and CAL Sports Academy’s Strength Through Sports philosophy
Practice frequency may vary by week due to holidays, tournament schedules, weather, facility availability, and other operational considerations. Practice schedules, tournament schedules, team structures, and the number of events may also vary by team and age division. Final program details will be provided before families are asked to accept a roster position.
Previous Tournament Locations
While the 2026–2027 tournament schedule is still being finalized, CAL Sports Academy teams have competed in tournaments in the following locations during the previous two club seasons:
- King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
- Collegeville, Pennsylvania
- Oaks, Pennsylvania
- Manheim, Pennsylvania
- West Chester, Pennsylvania
- Glen Mills, Pennsylvania
- Atlantic City, New Jersey
These locations are provided to help families understand the potential travel commitment. The final tournament schedule may include different locations. Families are responsible for transportation, lodging, meals, and other travel expenses unless otherwise stated in the final team offer.
2026–2027 Club Season Investment
Final pricing for the 2026–2027 club volleyball season is currently being reviewed and will be announced before team offers are issued.
For planning purposes only: The 2025–2026 season fee was $3,825 per athlete. This amount is provided as a reference and is not the confirmed price for the upcoming season.
Last season’s fee included coaching, practices, tournaments, uniforms, AAU membership, and administrative expenses. Biweekly payment installments were available. Final 2026–2027 pricing, program inclusions, and payment options will be shared before families are asked to accept a roster position.
2026–2027 Club Volleyball Tryouts
Tryout registration is now open for 14U, 15U, 16U, and 17U athletes.
- Dates: Sunday, October 18, and Sunday, October 25, 2026
- Time: 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
- Location: Dock Mennonite Academy EC to Grade 8 Campus

- Tryout Fee: $50 per athlete, plus applicable processing fees
Athletes should register for the age division that corresponds with their date of birth under the 2026–2027 USA Volleyball Junior Player Age Definitions.

CAL Sports Academy follows USA Volleyball’s official 2026–2027 Junior Player Age Definition Chart. An athlete’s age division is determined primarily by the athlete’s date of birth.
*18U exception: Athletes born from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008 may be eligible for the 18U division if they are high school students in the twelfth grade or below during some part of the current academic year.
**17U exception: Athletes born from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009 may be eligible for the 17U division if they have not completed, and are not enrolled above, the eleventh grade during the current academic year.

- 16 Gold finished 21st out of 35, winning gold medal in bronze bracket playoffs in 16 American division at the MLK Kickoff Classic.
