CAL Elite – How does it work?

CAL EliteWith CAL Sports Academy’s new Fall class offerings, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced players are getting the best possible instruction from fundamentals, elements of game play, and player development now matter what position they play. When it comes to progressing into an “Elite” player, here are some things we consider before an athlete is invited into the program.

We’ve developed an Elite level of classes only for those players who are ready for the next level of instruction.

We take into consideration first and foremost the age of the player. Is it an appropriate time for the player to be with other players who are of a certain age that may be older. In an effort to give younger athletes who are ready for more challenging training, we will be offering some Session 4 invite only clinics for what we call our “Junior Elite” program.

More importantly, what we consider most is the attitude of the player when it comes to an Elite Level invite. It is important that the player knows that the expectations in regards to work ethic, focus, dedication, and skill level are much higher in our Elite Prep classes. It takes commitment and dedication to move up to this level.

Another point we’re excited to address in the Elite Prep classes is the MIND of the athlete. We’ll start to discuss leadership roles and qualities, how to overcome adversity and emotions, and how to adapt your mindset. All of these next level training points are part of developing the complete athlete.

Work hard, have fun, and keep a positive attitude! Our Elite programs are designed to give players something to strive for in their journey of training.

All non-elite level Session 4 classes are available here for registration.
