Our Club Volleyball Travel Team creates additional opportunities for girls, ages 12-18, who are committed to playing competitive volleyball all year around.
The 2017 – 2018 Club Volleyball season kicked off mid-December and is in full swing.
This year CAL Sports Academy has 3 teams including 13U, 16U and 17U. All teams have been practicing hard twice a week and also have been working with Coach Corey on select nights for performance training. They have all competed in their first tournaments of the season over the past few weekends and each team brought home some wins! Teams have also been sporting NEW uniforms for the 2017-2018 season!
Our 17U club team is a group of returning players with a few new faces as well. They fought hard in their first tournament, the MLK Kickoff Classic in Lancaster, PA. The team played for 3 days and won Silver medals in the emerald bracket on the final day of competition. The team started the season off with a bang and are continuing to work hard at practice each week!
The youngest of our club teams, 13U, played in their first and second tournaments of the season on January 20th in King of Prussia and January 28th in Lancaster. Our 13U team is all new to the club volleyball world and had a great start! The girl’s played well and had a blast, they came home with a few wins.
Our 16U team traveled for the first time this season on January 27th to Scranton, PA. The 16’s also started the season off with a few win’s and worked hard all day long!
Coach Jess and Coach Tim have been running skill specific practices as well as constantly working on team line ups and rotations. They both are looking forward to more success in the future with all 3 teams this season!
