CAL Sports Academy's 2013 AAU Basketball Program
AAU BOYS & GIRLS BASKETBALL
CAL Sports Academy Travel AAU Basketball program is designed to create additional opportunities for boys and girls who are committed to playing competitive year round basketball.
Our Mission: CAL Sports Academy was founded to provide positive alternative sport programs for adolescents. Our goals are to instill leadership qualities in each participant with “a can do” attitude by introducing developing sports training.
Our motto, “Strength Through Sports”, applies to strength of mind, body, and spirit. Our academy focuses on integrity, credible sports education, and commitment to results that exceed expectations, and the belief that children need good role models both inside and outside of their homes. All of our work is youth-centered and strives for the highest possible quality. We bring a developmental approach and a community-wide perspective to everything we do.
THIS YEAR CAL SPORTS ACADEMY IS OFFERING FINANCING VIA PAYPAL IN ORDER FOR OUR FAMILIES TO BE ABLE TO MAKE THE AAU SEASON AFFORDABLE AND FUN!
TRYOUTS FEES:
Payment of $200 is required upon registering for AAU Basketball tryouts. There is no exception to this. Upon completion of the tryout period, $150 is either credited towards the AAU Program if the player makes the team, or refunded to the parent if the player does not make a team.

REGISTRATION FEE:
CAL Sports Academy's 2013 AAU Program fee is TO BE DETERMINED per player (if paid by Credit Card or PayPal) as we are in the process of selecting 7 tournaments and 2 practices per week for each team; fees will cover AAU Insurance, tournaments (7), gym rental fees, equipment, administrative costs, coaches’ salaries for games and practices, insurance and miscellaneous expenses. Uniform costs are not included within the AAU Program fee and will be handled separately.
*Note (Tournament/Participation Fee): If any team has less than 11 players, the tournament/participation fee cost will slightly increase.
