CAL Sports Speed and Agility Training is an 7 week (45 minutes) class is perfect for multi-sport athletes who would like to improve their speed and agility in their respective sports. Each session will include Speed, Agility, Balance, Quickness and Reaction-time drills.
What does "Development" Mean to CAL Sports Academy?
Development is one of the key ingredients we undertake in our programs. We strive to develop players at all levels by building and improving their skills, confidence, fitness, and teamwork. We teach LIFE LESSONS that helps our students to cope with adversity at school, work, home, and during competition. Our main goals are to expand our students thinking beyond sports, creating strong work ethics that would allow them to ultimately succeed in other phases of their lives.
MATERIALS NEEDED: Class participants will need good running shoes, jump rope and plenty of water.
Program Intentions
This program is demanding, not intended as a babysitting service. CAL Sports Academy Speed & Agility Training relies on discipline, attitude and effort. Each student must be prepared to work as hard as he or she possibly can as soon as he/she arrives. We feel the number one vital component in success of the game of life is internal discipline! That is what we feel is lacking in the majority of every player/youth with whom we come into contact. We will instill this SKILL of INTERNAL DISCIPLINE, not only as it relates to sports, but as it relates to the game of life! Parents understand that through our program your child will be a better person on and off the court (field)!
**TWO SESSIONS FOR TWO AGE GROUPS**
SESSION 1:
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. weekly (Sundays)
Ages: 12 – 16 (Boys and Girls)

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. weekly (Sundays)
Ages: 9 – 11 (Boys and Girls)

Flexibility Drills
Athlete Assessment
Agility Drills

Balance Drills

Cool Down Drills

LATE PAYMENT/REGISTRATION POLICY CLASSES and CLINICS will be billed according to the following scale after the first week of the 8 week session using a $25.00 per class rate: 7 weeks = $175.00, 6 weeks to 1 week = $150.00. There is no further price reduction after the second week of the program. There are NO pay by class options, NO pay by the class discounts, and NO make-up classes.
