CAL Sports Academy Day At the Philadelphia 76ers

THANKS TO ALL OF THE FAMILIES WHO ARE GOING TO CAL SPORTS ACADEMY'S DAY AT THE 76ERS ON SATURDAY APRIL 7TH, 2012 at the WELLS FARGO CENTER!

General Information: (Updated on 4/4/2012 – 12:51 a.m.)

1. Schedule of Events:

a. VERY IMPORTANT! - Enter the Wells Fargo Complex off of the Broad Street Parking entrance. If you plan on leaving and coming back make sure to touch base with the gate attendant to get further instructions. Once in the parking area, make your first right and drive around the arena to the side closest to the Linc. Park in D lot. Enter the Wells Fargo Center through the 11th Street entrance. Also, if you need to leave the building and re-enter during the CAL Sports Court time, make sure to talk to an usher or ticket taker before you leave the premises.

b. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY (1:45p). Late arrivals may miss their opportunity to play on the 76ers court. Everyone entering the Wachovia will need a ticket for this event (April 7th).

2. Parking & Parking Fees:

a. Game day parking is $15 per vehicle (April 7). If you decide to leave and return for the game, inform the ticket clerk and they’ll provide information.

3. Supervision:

a. It’s the responsibility of the parent/guardian to supervise their children at the Wachovia Center.

b. Each child must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

4. All Players must wear your CAL Sports league T-Shirts and Coaches Must Wear Sneakers and the Black T-shirt provided at the beginning of Season.

5. All players and coaches must sign waiver to enter court. Children under the age of 18 will need to have a parent or guardian sign it on behalf of them. Players and coaches must have the waiver in hand when entering the court.

1. Parents and Siblings aren’t allowed on the court at any time (only CAL Sports League players until their Court time is over).

A. 10:00 a.m. -- Limo Arrives at Montco Gym, 110 Christopher Lane, Harleysville, PA

B. 10:30 a.m. -- 10:45am – LIMO Winner and Family are photographed

C. 11:00 a.m. -- LIMO Departs for Sixers Game.

D. 12:30 p.m. -- 1:00pm – Arrival depending upon traffic.

E. 1:30 p.m. -- Behind scenes tour of Wells Fargo Center. All 20 Winners below and 1 Parent should arrive at 1:00pm.

F. 2:00 p.m. -- GATE OPENS FOR ALL LEAGUE PARTICIPANTS AND FAMILIES

G. 2:30 p.m. -- 5:25pm – Court Time for all CAL Sports League Players (plan to be there at 1:45pm as we've been given the court earlier in previous years and I’ll start once the court is available). Uniforms -- Please wear your league T-Shirts for your Court Time Games.

GRADES 2 TO 3:

· 2:30PM – THUNDER VS. HEAT

· 2:53PM – MAVS VS. CELTICS

· 3:15PM – PACERS VS. CLIPPERS

GRADES 4 TO 6:

· 3:38PM – KNICKS VS. 76ERS

· 4:01PM – LAKERS VS. SUNS

GRADES 7 TO 9:

· 4:24PM – BOBCATS VS. MAGIC

· 4:49PM – BULLS VS. HAWKS

COACHES / VOLUNTEER GAMES

· 5:14PM – COACHES / VOLUNTEER GAMES

· 5:25PM – END OF COURT TIME

H. 5:30pm -- 6:30pm –Food and Beverages are available for purchase at Cure Pavilion

I. 5:45pm -- 6:30pm – Meet Coach Dean at Cure Pavilion -- Pre-game warm up open to 120 CAL SPORTS ACADEMY PLAYERS ONLY - this will be players only and some coaches - no parents or siblings (Update 4/6/2012 @ 6:22pm: Coach Corey sent an email to the families). *Participants cannot ask for autographs; however they can watch and take pictures from their seats. Any type of distractive behavior to the players’ pre-game warm-ups will end the experience immediately for entire group.* We'd like to thank the Sixers and their staff for allowing us to expand the number of players we are now allowed to have for the pre-game warm up!

J. 6:00pm -- 6:15pm – 10 winners (players only) plus 2 chaperones Meet & Greet with Sixer Dancers & Flight Squad...(Meet Coach Corey at the Cure Pavilion at 5:55pm)
