Position: Coaching
Location: Various Locations
Description: Candidate is responsible to support all youth programs through CAL Sports Academy. Programs include students ranging in ages form six thru teens at both on and off site locations. Areas of responsibility include: Provides instruction to train groups according to CAL Sports Academy guidelines and must be willing to follow all program-specific rules and regulations regarding youth sports. Ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and professional communications skills.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidate should have a minimum 2 year sports experience within the elementary to high school level age range in a teaching /coaching capacity.
• Model and promote the mission, values and guiding principles of CAL Sports Academy appropriate
appearance,words and actions.
• Ability to learn or adapt to different teaching styles.
• Exceedingly high motivation and energy level.
• Build rapport with participant’s parents to inform them of their child progress,
encouraging long-term participation in the program.
• Strong people skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in a multi-task environment.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Use of an automobile required
• Act 33/34 Clearances
• Federal FBI Clearance

Position: Instructor
Location: Various Locations
Schedule: Weeknights and Weekends
Description: Candidate is responsible to support all youth programs through CAL Sports Academy. Programs include students ranging in ages form six thru teens at both on and off site locations. Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidate should have a minimum 1 year sports experience within the elementary to high school level age range
in a teaching /Instructor capacity.
• Model and promote the mission, values and guiding principles of CAL Sports Academy appropriate appearance,
words and actions.
• Adhere to all operational excellence standards related to maintaining a safe and fun environment for
all participants.
• Ability to learn or adapt to different teaching styles.
• Exceedingly high motivation and energy level.
• Stay informed of programs offerings, session dates, pricing and make-up policy
• Build rapport with participant’s parents to inform them of their child progress,
encouraging long-term participation in the program.
• Take attendance regularly at the start of every class.
• Set –up, breakdown equipment necessary to run specific class.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Use of an automobile required
• Act 33/34 Clearances
• Federal FBI Clearance

Position: Youth Sports Official
Location: Various Locations
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday evenings
Description: Candidate is responsible to support all youth programs through CAL Sports Academy. Programs include students ranging in ages form six thru teens at both on and off site locations. The Sports Official will call games and maintain structure for CAL Sports Academy leagues. Sport official is responsible for being prompt and professional during all games and program activities. Interact with coaches, other sports officials, youth, parents and CAL Sports Academy staff. Enforce program rules and policies by maintaining constant surveillance of program participants. Set up facility or equipment, store equipment, and secure facility upon completion of games/program (on an as needed basis). Report equipment problems. Ensure safety of members/participants. Respond to and report accidents and incidents to appropriate staff. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidate should have a minimum high school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 year sports officiating experience,
must have a strong knowledge of the sport and league rules.

for all participants.
• Good vision and quick reflexes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the sport of basketball
• Ability to work with groups of students and adults.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Experience playing and/or officiating basketball.
• Make qualifying decisions and resolve disputes between players and teams quickly and fairly.
• Exceedingly high motivation and energy level.

Position: Host/Hostess
Location: Sports Performance Center
Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sundays
Description: Birthday Party Host or Hostess must work well with children. Job includes meeting and greeting guest, setting up for the parties, conduct, and clean-up after birthday parties held at above location, cutting cake, serving of food, etc. Hiring individuals, 16 years and older, for our successful Birthday Party Program.

Hiring Candidate should be 16 years and older.

• Adhere to all operational excellence standards related to maintaining a safe and fun environment for all guest.
• Set up all supplies and equipment and prepare for assigned birthday party and or special events.
• Welcomes and greets customers.
• Active enthusiastic interaction with children throughout party
• Frequent communication with the party parents to make sure that all expectation are being met
and if possible exceeded.
• Provides friendly, courteous, polite and helpful customer service.
• Explains current promotions. Solicits customers for league, open play and future center events.
• Answers customer questions and provides necessary information.
• Thanks customers for their patronage

Position: Camp Counselor
Location: Various Locations
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Description: The camp counselor is required to operate and support CAL Sports Academy summer camp. Programs include students in ages from six through teens at both on and off site locations. Areas of responsibility include: program management and delivery of other responsibilities as assigned, this position works with some independence. Able to communicate effectively with campers and staff adhere to schedules and assigned works stations. Good character, integrity, and adaptability Enthusiasm, sense of humor and patience.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Hiring Candidate should have a High school graduate or equivalent, or at least 18 years of age.

appropriate appearance, words and actions.
• Adhere to all operational excellence standards related to maintaining a safe and fun environment for all campers.
• Set-up and clean-up before, during, and after the camp day.
• Guarantee campers safety at all times and provide first aid when necessary,
being constantly aware of children’s medical conditions and food allergies.
• Ensure campers follow policies and procedures.
• Motivate children to participate in age appropriate activities.
• Leads by example maintain a positive attitude and fun atmosphere while overseeing assigned group.
• Communicate to Director any camper/parental issues.
