James P. Stabinski, Junior Program Specialist, a graduate of North Penn High School has been a participant in local area sports at the North Penn YMCA and North Penn Boys and Girls Club including basketball and soccer. James is a graduate of Temple University and is a certified K - 12 health and physical education teacher with experience teaching in both Philadelphia and local school districts. James currently resides in Lansdale. |

Andrew Mardi, is going into his junior year at East Stroudsburg University, where he is majoring in Sports Management. Andrew graduated from Souderton High School. He played two years of varsity basketball at Souderton under the head coach of Perry Engard. Andrew decided to focus on schoolwork at ESU, but still plays in the annual recreational basketball league at ESU. He also holds a championship title at ESU’s recreational basketball league. Andrew previously worked three years at the Big Red Basketball Camp at Souderton. He loves the game of basketball, and wants to pass down his passion of the game to the youth in the area. |

David Tinsley, has coached U-10 soccer and 6th – 7th grade basketball for his local sports league. He is now coaching 7th – 8th grade boys basketball at Girard College. David played basketball at Stroudsburg High School where he was a Varsity letter winner and his team was District IX champions. In college he decided to focus on his studies and earn his degree, but he remained involved in basketball through the schools intramural program. He is now studying Physical Education and Health at Eastern University. |

Jon Palmer, of Lansdale, PA, joins the CAL Sports Academy staff as he enters his third season as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach with Montgomery County Community College Mustangs. As part of his work with the Mustangs his duties include: player development, practice planning, bench coaching and recruiting. The Mustangs have compiled 42 wins to 13 losses during this period. Jon graduated from Delaware Valley College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Sports Management in December 2010. He played two years for Manor College in 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 where the Blue Jays appeared in two consecutive League Championship games as they won 42 games and losing only 8. Jon also played for North Penn High School in 2004 and 2006. |
| Lauren White, of Blooming Glen, attended Pennridge High School where she participated in volleyball, lacrosse and basketball. She also worked in the athletic training room as a student trainer. Lauren was also a member of a local AAU team for eight years. During that time, her team competed in nationals twice coming in 13th and 33rd in the nation. After high school, Lauren attended Ursinus College graduating in 2009 with a bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in coaching. She was a member of the Ursinus Women’s basketball team for four years and captain her senior year, winning the Centennial Conference Championship in 06-07. During her time at Ursinus, Lauren worked as a first responder in the athletic training room. Lauren has four years of head coaching experience, coaching CYO, Pennridge North 7th grade girls and CAL Sports. Lauren currently works as a personal trainer, boot camp instructor and speed and agility coach. Working with all age groups and with multiple sports. Lauren is currently in school acquiring her education certification in Health and Physical Education K-12. She has a passion for working with children and loves watching them achieve athletically and academically! |
